Requiring Password Resets


Instructions to end users:

  1. Ensure you have the correct email address associated with your DHIS2 account
  2. When the specified amount of time as passed, you’ll receive and email invitation to reset your password.
  3. Follow the link in the email and the instructions in order to reset your DHIS2 password.

DHIS2 has a built in feature to require password resets at various preset intervals. These are accessible via System Settings > Access > Require User Account Password Change.

Preset options include 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months
