Requiring Password Resets
Instructions to end users:
- Ensure you have the correct email address associated with your DHIS2 account
- When the specified amount of time as passed, you’ll receive and email invitation to reset your password.
- Follow the link in the email and the instructions in order to reset your DHIS2 password.
DHIS2 has a built in feature to require password resets at various preset intervals. These are accessible via System Settings > Access > Require User Account Password Change.

Preset options include 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months
